This is an excellent way to preserve the memories surrounding the birth of a child:
- Part 1: Pre-birth interview with parents and siblings to set the stage. Takes place in the family home. Questions about how the couple met; thoughts and feelings about having this baby; hopes and dreams; preparations. May also include sonogram, baby room tour, update on siblings, etc.
- Part 2: Videotaping of the birth OR family’s own video and stills of the birth experience. Flexible depending on family’s desires.
- Part 3: The telling of the birth story by the parents, close-ups of the little one, reactions of siblings and visitors, and a musical montage of the newborn.
